The Club was founded in 2001 and in 18 years has won the Canadian National Team Masters Championships seven times and participated in other competitions, including three in Canada, Australia, and Italy. Wilma and Trish enthusiastically present the Club’s many activities for adults and children, such as sprint kayak and canoe boating, dragon boating, para-canoe for the physically disabled, PaddleAll for the intellectually disabled, youth camp, regattas, and recreational and competitive programs. All their coaches are certified and the Club provides all equipment. As Trish says, “Bring your enthusiasm and dry clothes.” Wilma mentions that the Club is for young and old, offering fitness, fun, camaraderie, and passion for these water sports.
In September the Club will have its annual long-distance regatta.
